1. Products & Availability

All products listed on our website are subject to availability. Inventory quantities may change without notice.

If an item is marked sold out, you may contact us to inquire about restock timing or availability.

We reserve the right to:

• Limit quantities

• Refuse service

• Cancel orders if necessary

In the event of an inventory error, we will contact you promptly.

2. Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If a pricing error affects your order, you will be notified before the order is processed.

3. Payment

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method.

We do not store full credit card information.

4. Local Delivery & Pick-Up

We offer:

• Free delivery in Harpswell

• Free delivery on orders over $100 to Brunswick and Topsham

Delivery scheduling is arranged directly after purchase.

Local pick-up is available by appointment. Customers are responsible for collecting orders within a reasonable timeframe once notified.

5. Honey Extraction Services

Honey extraction services are available for small-batch beekeepers in Harpswell, Brunswick, Topsham, and surrounding areas.

By using our extraction services, you acknowledge:

• Honey must not be crystallized at time of drop-off

• We do not bottle individual jars

• Honey will be returned in bulk storage containers (or customer-provided containers)

• Wax cappings will be returned in a container provided by the customer

We follow sanitary practices consistent with Maine food safety standards, including sanitizing equipment between batches using boiling water and no chemical cleaners.

While we exercise care during extraction, The Salty Bee is not responsible for:

• Pre-existing contamination

• Honey quality issues prior to drop-off

• Natural variations in yield

6. Equipment & Product Use

Beekeeping involves inherent risks. By purchasing equipment or treatments from us, you acknowledge that:

• Proper use is the responsibility of the purchaser

• Manufacturer instructions should be reviewed before use

• We are not responsible for misuse, hive loss, or colony health outcomes

Products that include warnings (including Proposition 65 warnings) are labeled accordingly.

7. No Warranties

Products are sold “as is” unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.

We do not guarantee specific results from hive treatments, feeding products, or equipment use.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Salty Bee shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or incidental damages

• Loss of bees or colony failure

• Loss of honey production

• Equipment misuse

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service in question.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, logos, and product descriptions, is the property of The Salty Bee and may not be copied or used without written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Maine.
